Polio was actually a response to the widespread use of DDT.
DDT was phased out just before the Polio "vaccine" was put into widespread use.
I always get the inevitable "but my neighbor, friend, cousin, etc got polio and was put in an iron lung"
Extensive reading on my part leads me to believe a large number of polio cases were more likely an adverse reaction to the vaccine.
