First off, I too agree that over vaccinating is an ongoing issue. However this year I have witnessed the horrific and painful death of two puppies whose owners' did not vaccinate for Parvo. So although I agree we need alternatives, these diseases exist and are contagious and KILL young puppies. What's your solution for their protection ... if suggesting no vaccines ever? The risk is high!
Let me finish my comment by saying I vaccinated my new puppy only once, for Parvo and Distemper and declined the rabies all together. Our older dogs I stopped annual vaccines years ago, without 100% proof it was the right thing for them..... Thank you for this eye opener and insight.
