My lab Poodle mix has been on Apoquel since it came out. She was previously on Atopica which was super expensive. She is almost 13 but over the past 2 years she has MANY lypomas appearing all over her body. A very large one in her groin area which is causing her walking issues. I knew this would come back to bite me in the butt but was hoping this wonder drug was for real. TRUTH-- drugs only mask the issues. Getting to the bottom of her allergies is what I really needed to do and go the holistic route. She is allergic to grass, dust, mulch etc. No food allergies.
