Thank you for your reply, which gives me the confidence to continue with TF Plus and Feline Complete, which I mix into our cat's wet food. We had consulted with a homeopathic vet early on, who was not ready to treat our cat (Kemo) with homeopathy during the first incidence. In the meantime, a friend of mine who studied under Dr. Pitcairn gave me a homeopathic protocol that she learned from Dr. Pitcairn, using Sulphur and Thuja occidentalis, which we followed during the first incidence and again when the second incidence occurred. Then we started Kemo on an extract (Rick Simpson Oil) made from a marijuana strain containing properties recommended by Rick Simpson for healing autoimmune conditions, among other chronic health problems. It's nasty tasting stuff, so I put it in a tiny capsule along with some extra Feline Complete and administer twice a day. We have been giving Kemo the extract for two months and will probably continue with it indefinitely. His plaques are healing, however slowly, so perhaps this is what is to be expected and I need to be patient and allow it to run its course. I may consult with the homeopathic vet again--she is a mobile vet and also consults by phone and Facetime, which is very convenient.
