Yes, I had to carry her everywhere for days. She is not the happy, active and loving dog that she was before the injection of Cytopoint. Her entire personalty changed. I am so sorry that I
accepted the injection from my vet. I am so careful of what I accept for her and I will never forgive myself for saying yes. I took a happy, healthy, dog into the Vet. My life and my dogs life changed in one day. It has been six months and we are still suffering..

Hi Dwight, my 13 year old Cavalier is extremely lethargic and not eating. I had full bloods done prior to her being given cytopoint. Our situation is she has had chronic allergies for most of her life, chewing her feet, constant scratching and her tummy was red, hot and moist. She would develop hotspots and ulcers. In the past year she has developed a high grade heart murmur with little congestion. She is on Vetmedin, frusemide, fortekor and has potassium as she recently showed kidney issues. She was on low dose prednisone on and off for years and we tried Apoquel which did not work. My holistic vet suggested cytopoint and we went ahead. Initially it was great, her itching stopped within 6 hours and she was much happier. However it’s now been a fortnight and she has developed the lethargy and loss of appetite. Her gums are very pale but that could be due to her heart. An X-ray showed her heart is enlarged. She is also sore in her back so she is reviving tramadol to see if the other symptoms are more due to her pain rather than illness.

yes my shih tzu did the very same thing lethargic. Lord is 10 yrs old vet thinks he is allergic to chicken. Vet gave him the cytopoint injection no conversation or opportunity to research. Lord stopped licking under his legs and licking and chewing his paws most of the time. Lordhad on going ear issues for years. Vet put him on a fish diet I’m using a holistic limited ingredient diet Venture pollock fish, pumpkin, flaxseed. Lord hates it hardly eats at all lucky if 1/4 cup a day. Lord by the 3rd day started licking all over again but not chewing his paws. I will be checking out a holistic Vetafter all these reviews.
