It's not that homeopathy doesn't work, it's just a reflection of how difficult it is to prescribe for a largely common symptom: the itch. We often have to try and try again, until we find more clues about what the animal has going on besides just itch. That lone symptom will never uncover the best remedy.
I'm sorry to hear this, and likely this is a classmate of mine. I'd sure not endorse either of these drugs. "Immune therapy" sounds intelligent.
Less so when you call it like it is: immune suppression.
