As long as he's continuing to improve (appetite, energy, cough), no worry about the discharge being yellow, no.
If he goes towards more coughing, you can repeat phosphorus. Please don't change to nux. Once you've found a remedy that's helped, if there's regression later, you'd always repeat the remedy that helped rather than change to a new one.
