Hey, nice work, Rene! I'm gonna guess this was something other than dog flu, though. If it was flu, these are really atypical symptoms. As a respiratory virus that infects all the way from nose to the deepest part of the lungs, we be expecting a lot of coughing. This one is also reported to have a fair amount of sneezing.
Bryonia is a fairly prominent liver (and fever) remedy, though, so bottom line, even w/o a firm diagnosis, you saw the wonders of a proper remedy play out in your old Dobie. Again: Congrats!
