Not sure I'd take it if I were you, Leah. Pitcairn is way older than I and isn't taking it preventatively. He's choosing to see if he gets any symptoms, then will take one dose.
Remember: young, healthy folks should barely get sick at all from this virus. Prevention is more needed if you're old and especially if you're chronically ill (diabetes, obesity, heart disease, autoimmune, etc.) -- those people could think about a weekly dose till this dies down.
