Remedies like nux v, sulphur, and many many others often have quite the list of possible symptoms that could lead one to them. It helped Richard to find nux v when he saw this odd symptom, characteristic of nux v (and maybe only a few others). It doesn't mean it's not useful to those lacking that symptom or even having an opposite symptom. For example, nux v is typically chilly. I am not, nor was I when I started coming down with COVID-19 symptoms. Yet, it "fit" my illness pattern in other ways and I'm well today after just a couple doses when I was ill.
