Hey Suzanne, in an earlier reply, I posted a link to the materia medica description of nux vomica. Worth a look, as it may still fit you and Jack. I can see I'm likely to need it more chronically, as my overwork over the past few years has pushed me into a nux state. All the best and rapid recovery for you both.
