Yes, the key was, "he was well into it," Jennifer. The best use of the genus epidemicus is early in the disease, ideally at first symptoms. It still sounds like the remedy was correct (by his symptoms), so in hindsight, a few more doses would probably have helped. Or a higher potency, perhaps. Glad he's gotten better, even if slowly.
