First, let me say that I'm sorry I didn't make the Zoom meetings the last two Friday's. Can I still do it? Then also let me say that I prefer doing holistic treatments first! And I've been doing this for years. Next, I'd like to comment on the fact that I've been hearing some scary information that the FDA is planning on making homeopathy illegal, and there's a threat that it will no longer be available. I know the only reason this is happening, is that I know the alopathic Vets feel they are losing too much business, and they want to put a stop to pet parents taking their pet elsewhere for treatment. Is there anything we can do about this? The reason I'm aware of how my Vet(s) feel is that just recently one of them sent me a letter telling me they were going to call the police on me if I ever came to them with a pet again. They said it was because I don't respect their credibility. It's true, I advocate for my pets and I don't take their diagnoses and decisions as the bottom line, and then have surgeries that aren't needed. My ToyFox puppy fell and got inflammation in her hind leg. It was diagnosed as Legg Perthees. The Dr. wanted to cut the ball of the leg bone off and wire the leg up to the hip bone, where she would have to drag her leg around for the rest of her life. I told him I would get a second opinion, and I took her to a Chiropractor. He sent me to a Holistic Veterinarian, who has since reduced hours, and is almost at retirement. He gave her an herb to take the inflammation out. I took her back to the Chiropractor, who put the ball back in the hip socket, and I went back to the Holistic Vet to get a different herb to tighten the joint. That was when she was 4 months old. She's now 7 years old, and she hasn't had a problem since. However, now my regular Vet is angry that he lost that costly surgery. He doesn't care about the dog, he only cares about his financial situation. I could give you many more experiences, and now I see Veterinarians determined to do whatever is necessary to keep their patients, and making the big bucks; and they're becoming vicious about it. Who would ever expect a Veterinarian to send a threatening letter saying the police would be called for someone who called for an appointment. Wouldn't the police only get involved if there was some type of violence involved? So while you are providing a wonderful service to pets and their owners, know that these other Vets are taking steps to remove our freedoms of choice when it comes to treatment. It wouldn't surprise me that sooner or later, a Vet that you once choose, will then be the Vet you must use and there will be no options but to do what they say or else. Oh, and yes, I've already see this happen. A Vet will claim a patient is theirs, and other Vets won't give appointments to that patient. I'm afraid something needs to be done to protect our right to chose the Drs. we believe to be best for our pets.

Perhaps give your readers a list of Certified Homeopathic Vets throughout the USA or a referral website that would have a listing of these Veterinarians or clinics listed in your website Vital Animal. We are in the SF Bay Area and it is really hard to find highly recommended Homeopathic Veterinarians, if any at all.
Thank you for all you do.
