Twenty-five years ago, after learning the appalling truth about the commercial pet food industry, I began cooking for my animal-family members. Susan Thixton's book was one of my learning tools.

I have concluded that according to AFFCO's regulations, a manufacturer could mix vitamins and minerals in sawdust, and it would meet AFFCO'S standards. And in regards to animals, FDA stands for Federal Department of A-holes, and the TAX PAYERS foot the bill.

My employers bull dog started bleeding from the rectum where it shows she developed a small tumor. Their Vet immediately took 'Bella' off her Apoquel. The wife wanted to sue but I had to show her it states in the Apoquel drug insert, can cause tumors. Bella (the dog) goes in for $500 dollar cash-only surgery early March and once that's finished, will CANINE Vital Animal Detox (30 scoops in each bottle) help in Bella's recovery? I don't understand why Parents drug their children, drug themselves or why they drug their drugs. What I really don't understand is how most blindly trust any man in a White Coat when that can & often is very dangerous if not deadly.
