I have just connected my French bulldog miyas shot with severe hives a week later. This shot is poison.

I tried to download the alternative newsletter and was brought to three different pages and told I had to sign up for some site, I have an EB who turned one in December, last July I boarded him at my vet, put it in writing I did not want any of my dogs to receive a flu shot, picked him up and was charged for a flu shot, dog had zero allergies or hot spots prior to this, then we brought him in for yeasty hot spots we tried Benadryl, Zyrtec and prednisone, antibacterial creams and anti fungal creams with no luck, they had apequel on the counter along with an antibiotic, we said no way to apequel as we’ve read how bad it is, also the warning sheets that come with the drug also say not to handle it with bare hands! I’ve had stage 3B breast cancer RA, osteoarthritis, copd and diverticulitis, have read from fur moms that have handled this Med that they are terrified about what will happen to them from dispensing this Med to their dogs without gloves, something to look into

Will great article! My dog was taking apoquel, and did exactly as you described in this article. Worked great for a couple of months, then had little or no affect. By the time we took him off the drug it was to late.
We noticed some lymph glands swelling, and took him to the vet.
They immediately suspected cancer, and drew some fluid for testing. The sample was sent to the University of Georgia for testing. The results came back inconclusive. We were very happy, but two days later we had to have him put to sleep. He had a lymph gland the size of a baseball in his neck. He could barely walk, couldn't eat. It was the safest day of my life. There is no doubt in my mind Apoquel caused his death by weakening his immune system.
Please do everything you can to earn other dog owners of the danger of this drug. The side affects are worse than the disease with this drug.

6 year old bichon started apoquel for itching though I was helping now to find out this is probley his problem with lessions and masses under his neck legs back and now 2nd surgery why is this product on the market if its harming our pets worried now!!

For yeasty situations on my dog I dilute Apple Cider Vinegar in a spray bottle... it seems to control yeast very well.
