I bought better carpet and my little dog got better.
I do think the vaccines do bother my dog. He had a
Fit for 3 days. They put him on Apoquel a week ago.
I wil Take him off. He’s 11 and 11lbs, lethargic some.
No other symptoms. I feed him only food with
Venison in it.

Hello I have a Shih Tzu and I did a ton of research on Apoquel. I must inform everyone first that my dog has seasonal allergies from about December to March depending on humidity. I live in Florida.
Apoquel was not made to use every single day forever. In the pharmacological prescribing information it states to use for a short period of time and then discontinue. I give t to my dog for a few short months and not every day. I’ve skipped to an every other day regimen just to give my poor puppy a break from the itching. It’s not a cure all it just helps. Once the medication is elevated in their blood levels you don’t have to give it every day. Those of you saying you are going to discontinue, have you found any relief previous to using medication? So you are going to allow you dog to be miserable with the itching and scratching and biting and digging themselves raw? Are you saying that’s better for them. Do some more research. As stated once you give the first weeks dosing then cut back on it every other day every two days and diascontinue when they don’t need it. Most dogs have a seasonal itching you just have to figure out when it is.

My vet is going to a conference regarding apoquel. He is considering putting my chaweinie on apoquel. After reading these comments I'm thinking not such a good idea.

My doc told me apoquel does not work on food allergy just seasonal and (like my Chihuahua) cotton etc.

If the ZD is helping then, stick with that. You said you have tried everything...? I know this sounds stupid, but is your baby off chicken and corn?
Chicken and turkey are considered "hot" foods in Chinese medicine. If you are giving your baby chickin treats they can cause this problem.
Do you give your baby a chew toy or a marrow bone? Sometimes they need to get anxiety out and if they don't have anything, they chew on themselves.

My dog had pretty much the same i started feeding her chicken and rice no seasoning just a little natural butter . I stopped all scented shampoos , the scents dyes and the additives in their foods and shampoos are killing our animals , Bee bee live to be 21 with no more problems after i stopped commercial dog food and scented products .I refused to let the vet vaccinate her after that . no problems he was healthy and happy until the day she passed

Vaccination is only part of the problem. The bigger problem, particularly in "allergic" dogs, is commercial dog food. Commercial foods contain so much indigestible garbage that wastes accumulate in the body.
