Thank you for encouraging us to stand firm on not vaccinating our beautiful pups.
I'm desperate to obtain a vaccination waiver for my 2 precious pups as we need this to move into an apartment. We are fleeing a toxic mold-filled apartment, we're very sick, and we need help getting this waiver. Please help.
Hello Doctors I was wondering if you do telehealth session I'm wondering how to find a cet that can sign the waiver for the rabies shot for my cat, thank you in advance
Dr. Falconer,
I have a one year old female cat who is in need of spaying. However, my doctor refuses to do so without a rabies vax to be given at the same time, citing the law in our area. I’m appalled at the idea. No holistic vets anywhere in our state. How can I get around this?
If you receive a puppy that has had the 5-way vax, is there a remedy to help heal as soon as you bring her home?
Thank you commitment to animals and their health. I have great respect and admiration for you, and those like you. Keep up the good work, and God bless you.!
Which rabies vaccine should you ask you vet for? I have a new puppy and want to know. There are many. I was told by a vet that the
t-free rabies vaccine was a MRNA vaccine. I am very confused. I am trying to read and listen to many sources? I want to be using the
holistic approach on all her care.
Dr. Falconer,
I’m very appreciative of your guidance. Our wonderful puggle lived an amazing 17.5 years. With your guidance when he was 3 years old we learned so much wisdom and he lived a great life. We now have a 5 month old beagle who had vaccines with the last one being at 3 months of age before we brought him home. We titer tested him for parvo/distemper one month later. He tested 79/78. Report threshold 80 and states revaccination recommended below 80. Would this be high enough to show immune response so we do not need to further get another or should he have one last booster for immune response?
I can’t find a bona fide HOLISTIC vet anywhere near me since ours died. I saw that a vet clinic I brought my last dog to- one instrumental in accelerating his death!- are advertising themselves as “holistic” and nearly lost my lunch. How can someone unpracticed in determining what is and what isn’t truly holistic help their pets? Businesses get into trouble for false advertising- so should vets (especially when lives are at stake)
My dog is 13+ - now mostly blind and has the most awful cocker ears imaginable- surely no thanks to the six vaccines in one day (!!!) he got before I adopted him 7+ years ago. NONE SINCE! - but he is 13+ and eating great and still being silly and seems to almost never have any distressing GI problems or other worrisome stuff- which I credit to avoiding vets since there aren’t any anywhere near me who I’d trust not to harm him. Fact.
Hello,
We have a 1.5 year old Golden Doodle. He was vaccinated for all things when he was a pup. After doing research, we do not want to have him vaccinated. Our groomer just sent us messages saying they won't take him because his vaccination records are expired. We live in the state of Georgia and its a yearly requirement I guess. We're wondering about how to bypass this. I assume we could find a groomer who doesn't mind, or we could find a holistic vet to give us a letter or something? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated by us. Thank you!
I have a 3 lbs 3 yr old Yorkie. Never had the rabies vaccination. I’d like to travel and I know that is a requirement. I found a vet that said she’ll do it according to her weight or I could find a vet/person whose animal has just had the vaccine and let Sadie be around them. How does that work or does that work? Thank you for your help.
I avoid vets unless I can walk in and say I want this [procedure, prescription drug, lab test that requires a blood draw]. Usually they do only what I ask for and nothing more. I also know what the side effects are before I walk in.
Regarding the rabies vax, every once in a while, in a rural area, I encounter a vet who mentions that a rabies vax is due, but does nothing if I walk out without getting one. I find that generally rural vets are less pushy than urban ones, which may reflect that rural practices need less cash to stay in business and that their clientele rely less on them.
My Vet hasn't pushed any vaccines in the past other than rabies and said he'd let me know if Parvo became an issue in the semi-rural area where we live. He has a new Veterinarian in his practice and now all of a sudden he vaccinated my dog against Leptospirosis without asking me.
We have a six foot fence around our yard so my dog is never, ever around other dogs because he doesn't play nice. He was born rowdy. We do have the occasional raccoon, armadillo and of course squirrels around us. Is Leptospirosis really that frightening an issue or is this just another scare tactic to vaccinate. If it is problematic, is there a holistic way to prevent it.
I am glad I found this. I am an Onderstepoort qualified (1978 1st class of vet nurses)vet nurse and worked in the vet industry for 43 yrs. Retired now and living in a small village in South Africa with no vet for 75km. I bought Dr Pitcairns book many years ago and have used his advice and recipes for many years. After the 2020/21 scamdemic and having already been sceptical of vaccinations for many years in humans and pets, I am now totally against it. Total money making scam. Far too may given.
Thank you for the valuable information, especially since most specialists are not open to discussions and are often biased. I have 8-week-old puppies (I’ve been taking care of them since they were 3 days old. They were only fed puppy milk replacement formula, but now they are eating veterinary wet food, and I will soon start transitioning them to a raw diet).
I don’t want to vaccinate them in the traditional way; instead, I would like to give them nosodes for parvovirus and distemper.
I live in Europe and tried ordering through the Vital Animal website, but it’s not possible to have them shipped outside of America. Do you know of any trusted source that also sells nosodes or could arrange for them to be delivered? The country doesn’t matter—I can pick them up anywhere in Europe.
I’ve searched online and called local homeopathic clinics, but no one offers alternatives to traditional vaccination. I’m very worried about my puppies; I don’t want to vaccinate them, but I’m afraid to take them outside without any form of protection. They weren’t raised or nursed by their mother and grew up on a milk replacement formula. I’m unsure how this has affected their immune system.
I would be incredibly grateful for any information.
I traveled to Netherlands recently so I had to crater and. vaccinate my 7 month Maltipoo. I was shocked to find out that a 7 lb dog and a 70 lb dog get identical rabies vaccines. Bummer. I have puppy training and they require vaccinations too. It is difficult in an urban are to go against crazy mainstream vet care. I will continue with Parvo and distemper pellets and Motherboard for Chico resisting the pressure as much as I can. I would like the name of a truly holistic (not faux) vet in DFW area. Can you help?
Dear Dr. Falconer,
I've been using homeopathic nosodes to protect my dogs from heartworm, rabies, DA2PPLV&C & Bordatella, all 30C for many, many years. My vet is now retired and I don't know how to get these nosodes. (I also use Thuja 30C 5 days before and 5 days after, twice a day, for the first year puppy rabies vaccine and then for the 3 year shot and then I don't get them innoculated after that. Do you have any other suggestion?)
May I get these nosodes from you?
Thank you,
Sue Weems
Appreciate the knowledge found on your site. Our puppies will be getting one parvo Vax when 12 weeks.... this is required from the person we got them from unfortunately. So I've already been giving the nosodes I got from you,as well as got thuja and liver detox for immediately after. We were thinking to order the parvo Vax and administer ourselves, is there one that could possibly be the least toxic to recommend? There is no info I can find on this. Also any other recommendations for us? Any fact sheets on statistics of nosodes effectiveness? We are willing to try one more time to convince this would be the best option but so far they think homeopathy is placebo. Thanks so much.
My vet is 100% conventional and follows the textbook from the 1970s. She is a great emergency option as she is very close to my house. Over the past 8 years we have agreed to disagree for the most part. If only she would consider another, better way to heal her patients. However, I started driving 6 hours from home to see an integrative/holistic vet to find the root cause for one of my pup's constant ear issues. I saw a pet dermatologist before that visit and was told my dog has atopic dermatitis and needs cyclosporine for life--I flatly refused. Thru some conventional meds early on to clear the ears and while using Chinese herbs, whole food, and other nutrition changes, my pup is 90% back to health, but it has been nearly a year to heal her gut. I pray for a push one day soon for conventional vets to consider a pet's health over ignorance and buy-in to evil pet food and pharmacy crooks who are pulling all the strings. Logic has been lost .
Hello!
I'm so glad that I found you and your website! I'm interested in purchasing your parvo/distemper nosodes kit for my 14 week old French Bulldog. He has had two parvo vaccinations and is due for the 3rd next week, but I'm opting out. Is the dosing protocol the same regardless of whether the pup has had any vaccines?
Thanks in advance for your wisdom ~ Janice
