It depends on where you’re traveling. Internationally, you’ll need whatever the county you’re visiting requires. If by car in the U.S., no one will care. If flying, airlines will need a health certificate filled out by a vet before flying. That may include vaccines, depending on the airline.
Rabies vaccine is a killed virus, so will not shed, even with close contact of a recently vaccinated dog.
