Hi Jill,

A few thoughts in response to your comment. First, I'm not suggesting "doing nothing" vs vaccinating. There are ways to immunize and build the immune system without damaging it. You may want to explore this article on controlled natural exposure for parvo and distemper immunity. And this page to get on the first release list for a powerful immune booster we're just about to bring to market for dogs.

And, it may seem like forever that we've been vaccinating dogs, but it's relatively short-lived, maybe 50 years now (and nothing crazy like annual vaccination when we started!). It might make it seem like every pup is born "incomplete" and just needs shots to make him disease resistant. If that were actual fact, dogs wouldn't have survived! So, fundamentally, we need a reframe on this thinking.

Finally, your too itchy Pom mix may well be beyond DIY tweaking. Allergies are chronic disease, and as such, there are limits to what can be accomplished at home, on your own. Chronic illness is rarely a "one button solution," and, as you say, you certainly can't avoid every allergen on the planet. I've got some solutions for you in my Apoquel Alternatives Report. You'll find it free on my recently censored article that Big Pharma would rather you didn't know about.
