Nice case study in you and your son, Carly! We see similar things in those vaccinated for parvo, but still getting it, same with kennel cough: the vaccinated animals have a much slower recovery (or they die more often) vs those who've not been vaccinated. One of my colleagues actually gathered data (and is probably still, now several years later) on this in parvo cases. He sees a much greater cure rate and less sick time in those not vaccinated vs the vaccinated pups.
