Our cat is now 4 years old. He was vaccinated with rabies vaccine at 3 months (he was a side of the highway rescue). Poor guy got a FISS within 2 weeks after vaccination. We insisted on surgical removal of the tumor. At his surgical check up we asked about vaccinating him in different areas other than the back of the neck...ie tail or legs, our vet said, why so we can amputate those instead. I asked about ordering vaccines without additives in the future, he said, no, we will just remove the tumors if he gets them! I was appalled. Our fur baby started to get ear infections, lost all his fur, and got body sores. We were told it was a flea allergy, but no fleas could be found in the house or on our indoor pets. We haven't taken any of our animals, except our horse for teeth, since that diagnosis. For 3 years now, this poor fur baby has been battling intermitten fur loss and random sores. We treat him with mms and borax baths, he gets better for a bit, then gets them back. I have never heard of a holistic veterinarian, but will now look into that! I refuse to get any vaccines for myself, even today. My PCP used to try to pressure me but doesn’t anymore. My husband, on the other hand, listens to his doctor most of the time. As for my dogs, I stopped vaccinating them years ago....except for one who got rabies vaccines until he was 7. He’s 10 now and isn’t getting anymore. I tried to talk my son and daughter in law into delaying vaccines for the grandkids. They have their own minds and unfortunately didn’t listen. The oldest grandson was diagnosed with ADHD and is on medication for it. The other grandson has Williams Syndrome and is really hyper. Of course, they both eat nothing but junk food so a lot of that has contributed to their behavior. I recommended they look into medical marijuana but it doesn’t look like they are open to that just yet. I just hope that one day people will wake up and listen to reason. It doesn’t help that no studies between vaccinated and unvaccinated kids appear to be published and promoted. I’m always called an uneducated anti-vaccine goofball since it is claimed that there aren’t any studies that prove that vaccines cause any bad reactions or health issues. Why do they think there is a National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program if there aren’t any injuries from vaccines ? Too many people have their heads in the sand and believe whatever they are told by the medical profession. It’s sad !

Yes indeed. It's driving me both crazy and broke!
I revisited the past 40 + years and realized that when I was growing up my family rarely had to take any of our dogs to the vet. I also recalled that the vaccines were pretty basic...distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and rabies. Quite frankly, in those days, our dogs were not re-vaccinated as a rule and were never ill. The first dog that I had that suffered considerable problems was acquired in 1990 and my most recent dog was acquired in 2013. Both dogs had/have significant skin problems requiring considerable diligence to keep under control. My dogs, prior to the mid-80's did not suffer from these issues. They rarely ever saw a veterinarian. The strongest evidence for these differences thus far appears to be the vaccines. I am very disappointed with the vets that continue to flog off these vaccines as essential while ignoring the overall consequences of their actions.

Grew up in the 50's and kids didn't have these illnesses or problems in school. I also raised show dogs in the 70's and 80's and NONE of my dogs ever had skin problems and most lived to a very ripe old age. I wasn't feeding commercial kibble. I was feeding raw. Anyone remember Show Circuit raw dog food?
I saw a big change in the early late 80's/early90's. Dogs with cancer, skin problems, behavioral issues, etc.
I never understood why and my current dog is suffering. No more vaccinations for him and will be contacting a homeopathic veterinarian!!!

I am completely anti-vax and my cat has never been vaccinated. At all. He is 13, has never been outside and seems to have developed asthma oddly enough. I am very careful with his diet and he never displayed allergies before. He has always been 100% healthy. It looks like classic asthma (I have compared to you tube examples) and want to take him to a holistic vet yet will they force me to vaccinate for rabies before they will see him? His appetite is fine, drinking water fine, going to the bathroom fine and acting fine after an episode but I do want him checked. It is sad that many smart people are actually fearful of vets due to the forced vaccination rules of rabies. I will never vaccinate. Ever.

My son was not vaccinated and my animals are not vaccinated. I use homeopathic nosodes, for the cats and dog. I've kept cats for 40 years and not vaccinated at all for the last 25 years.
My son has had all the now common childhood illnesses expect mumps. He and I both had whooping cough at about the same time (I of course was vaccinated as a child, he was not), I was far more seriously ill with it than he was. What fights off illness is a robust immune system, good diet and good public health.

Absolute, both feet in, anti vaxxer. Neither my children, nor my animal companions. Vaxx is just a way to create repeat customers for the wicked and anti-life pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Will, at 7 weeks old, my puppy got only ONE shot (with different vaccines on it) . Now my puppy is 11 months old, should i take him to get a SECOND shot of vaccine? or instead get a titer to see if he got immunized from his FIRST shot.

"Vitamin N" ! Hoo, I like that. Humanity needs to get an abundance of that vitamin and stop letting men and women who call themselves government steal us blind and wreck our pets health, as well as our own health. The Truth About Vaccines aired a couple months ago. It wasn't an eye opener for me since I live with a vaccine damaged cat, but it struck me how badly we need to spread this information. The only way to change things is the way doc is doing it...stand up for the truth and spread the word to everyone you meet.

Totally in the anti-vaccine camp here. Unfortunately for us, flying under the radar is no longer possible. Long story short our 1yo border collie was loose and brought back by animal control, who subsequently gave us a ticket for failure to license the dog. Well, ticket paid but low and behold the officer came BACK and issued ANOTHER ticket. Talk about waste of tax money.
I cannot afford to perpetually pay tickets, and our dog has already had a bought of itchy skin problems from puppy shots (done before we got him). I'm rather at a loss for how to protect my dog and not lose my butt in fines.

My little poodle always hurt after getting a multi shot and I'd tell the vet, no more! They say, we'll just give them one at a time. I decided she hurt toouch to get them again. But I've found they make me get her vaccinated before they'll groom her. We started looking for places that don't require shots to get clipped. It's difficult to find. I could do it myself but she would rather break her leg rather than have me clip her. Little turkey!!!

I attended a grammar school in England in the 1950's along with about 650 other boys.
I never heard of any case of autism, ADHD, rhinitis, eczema, dermatitis, neurodevelopmental disorder, etc etc during my entire years at school.
How medical practices have changed, and not for the better!
Veterinary practices too seem to have followed suit - too little concern by many in the business with the real physical and mental health of our pets.

As you well know, researchers who explore the vaccine-damage issue are often at risk (see: Dr Andrew Wakefield) for public humiliation and worse. Perhaps the evidence has finally become so overwhelming and obvious that there's a little more latitude to expose the truth. Gives me a bit of hope! Thanks, Doc!!

Titers, titers, TITERS!!! I haven't made the full homeopathic jump...yet...but I'm learning! This results of this study connects so many dots for me. My daughter, age 34, being diagnosed ADHD at age 6. Her children, especially the eldest, now having mental problems. Her second child whose growth is so high on the chart...she was 9 years old and already started her period! We've all been lab mice. Then our dogs...creatures who are unable to speak our spoken language and cannot say "NO". As a guardian of my breed, I do say NO for them!! It's my duty and my responsibility!

This just makes me more determined than ever to make sure Dr. Whitecoat doesn't take my fur babies in the back without my presence and absolutely stand my ground on no vaccines. My cats, one in particular who lost her mother at one week old, is suffering from all the vaccines she got as a little baby. Asthma being her number one problem. None of them get vaccines anymore but not before it was too late and each got something when they were little. The more I learn the more I'm upset for potentially harming my babies. There is a reason why our furbabies are dying earlier and people seem to be getting sicker. I have no absolute proof of how or why, but I know after my last golden ret. passed at 7 1/2 from mass liver cancer, I am now a vaccine rebel. I took my boy to the vet as soon as I got the reminder card each year and got multiple vaccines each year, along with the 3 yr rabies shot in one visit when it was it time for that. Topicals monthly for fleas and ticks during the warmer months here in the northeast. Never, ever again!. I am so tired of the "shots for their profit" that they push on us. The most important thing to do is educate ourselves and be the voice for our furbabies. We are the only ones who can stand up for them and stop this insane over-vaccinating. After he passed in 2014, I stopped annual shots for my aussie who was 7 at the time. He is now almost 10 and will never get another annual shot. Our golden we got after that, had a puppy shot at the breeders and his 2nd and final one at 4 months old. He has not and will never get another one and will be 3 on 6/13. Absolutely confirms my stand, and what I've believed for a long time. I'm of the age where my parents were of that healthier generation of much less vaccines.
As for Snopes, I realized their slanted and biased "research" a few years back.
