I've seen inherited chronic disease, including rabies related behavior, so that's the "nature" piece I spoke of in the newsletter (if the "nurture" truly didn't include a rabies shot). We've been vaccinating against rabies for probably over 70 generations of dogs now, so it's there, passed down, as a susceptibility.
