Even the mobile groomers here seem to require proof of rabies vax. My vet likely would have been able to get us around that because of the focal seizures, but unfortunately he died. All the other vets here are gung-ho vax with everything and no exceptions. I’m still looking. I’d rather my dog be shaggy in the meantime than suffer the ill effects of that vax. Plus he’s going to be 11 years old. Somewhere there’s gotta be someone who’s enlightened. It’s just not something you can casually mention.
